DDRC IMPLEMENTED BY BANGALORE BAPTIST HOSPITAL
The Community Health
Division of the Bangalore Baptist Hospital is the implementing
agency for the
District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) situated in the Bangalore
Rural District covering a population of 10 lakhs with an estimated 60,000
persons with disabilities. It is a collaborative project with the Directorate
of Welfare of the Disabled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka.
Through its several
interventions, the DDRC aims to reach out to persons with disability living in
the 1713 villages spread over 4 taluks of the Bangalore Rural District.
